Job summary

Muller Inc., a Northern Virginia site work contractor, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to service our fleet in Manassas, VA. You’ll handle oil changes, filter swaps, and minor repairs in the field to keep machines running on schedule.

The role requires 3+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience, a clean background, a valid driver’s license including a REAL ID, and willingness to learn new tasks in a hands‑on environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic knowledge.
• Must be a US-born citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a REAL ID.
• Must be willing to learn additional tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Field lube services (50% of day) - oil changes, topping off hydraulic and coolant, etc.
• Changing filters including oil, air, fuel, etc.
• Perform preventative services on trucks and equipment - simple, quick tasks.
• Perform small diagnostics or report back faulty items in the field.
• Perform small repairs in the field such as hydraulic line repairs, alternator replacements, battery replacements.
• Quality control checks of the crew's daily maintenance and reporting.
• Transport small portable equipment or safety items to job sites along the route.
• Special projects or other duties as assigned.
