Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Health Screener to provide field coverage, performing biometric screenings with finger sticks, BMI, and blood pressure, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This is an independent contractor (1099) role with potential conversion to a W2 per diem employee after meeting criteria.

Responsibilities include performing basic waived testing, maintaining records, delivering excellent customer service, and adhering to safety and privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of required regulations and comply with HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screening at client sites, including finger stick blood collection, BMI, and blood pressure.
• Performs basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and ensures quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Participate in training and continuing education programs as necessary.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear protective equipment as required.
