Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Health Screener to provide coverage in the field, ensuring health screenings are completed accurately and on time at client sites in Tempe and surrounding areas.

The role is an independent contractor (1099) with potential conversion to a W2 per diem employee after criteria are met; responsibilities include biometric screening, blood pressure, BMI, specimen collection, and maintaining quality records while complying with HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of required regulations and comply with them.
• Meet state licensure requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screening services.
• Performs basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and completes required quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Participates in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary.
• Complies with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including protective equipment when necessary.
