Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist - Field to provide primary field health and safety support for the Philadelphia Pipeline District Operations team, covering pump stations, LPG storage, and rights-of-way in PA/NJ. The role requires frequent travel within the territory and close collaboration with operations staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of field health and safety experience.
• BCSP or ABIH certifications preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to design and deliver safety training.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• H&S training – ensure compliance with company and regulatory training requirements and track completion.
• Regulatory compliance – perform site visits and inspections of health and safety regulations.
• Communication – liaise with operations to ensure consistent procedures and safety requirements.
• Incident record keeping and investigations – record, investigate, and implement corrective actions.
• Emergency response – support pipeline/terminal emergencies and be ready for night shifts.
• Industrial hygiene – schedule sampling to keep exposures below limits.
• Safety culture initiative – lead safety initiatives and promote awareness across sites.
• Coordinate and perform hands-on safety training as needed.
