Job summary

CDM Smith’s Perry Group unit seeks a Health & Safety Professional I to work in the field at client project sites across the United States. You will plan and implement health and safety programs in line with company policy and project plans, ensuring on-site personnel comply with standards.

Responsibilities include directing safety programs, administering the safety policy manual, conducting investigations, training, preparing reports, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the required degree(s) with relevant experience.
• OSHA30 certification is preferred or required.
• Experience in safety management on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall health and safety direction on project sites.
• Administer safety policy manual, training and job safety analyses.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and training.
• Ensure adherence to all PGL, client and project safety policies.
• Maintain official safety documentation for all projects.
• Prepare regulatory reports and conduct safety orientations.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and daily site inspections.
• Provide safety photos and support safety issue resolution.
• Travel to client project sites nationwide (100%).
