Sante Fe Veg in Alachua, FL is seeking a Farmworker to perform harvesting and packing of a variety of vegetables, including cabbage, kale and peppers. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 65 pounds outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining food safety standards.

Work is at a pace aligned with farm processes, with a 7:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. schedule, about 45 hours per week. Truely team-oriented environment with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience required: Yes.
• Months of experience required: 2.
• Hours per week: 45.

Responsabilités

• Harvest and pack cabbage, kale, collards, okra, corn, peppers and peas.
• In-field grading and discarding poor quality produce.
• Load quality produce into containers, handle up to 54 lbs, and transport to packing area.
• Follow safety rules and SOPs, work quickly and with a team.
