Job summary

Miller Pipeline in Wisconsin is hiring field technicians to support underground pipeline construction and repair. You will perform physical tasks, operate vehicles, and assist in demolition and restoration while traveling within the service area.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Professional or personal use of hand tools.
• Ability to travel within the service area and respond to emergencies.
• Pass computer-based testing related to local operator qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
• Excavate and compress soil and asphalt as required.
• Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
• Operate vehicles used for hauling.
• Assist in demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
• Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
• Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.
• Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.
