Job summary

Miller Pipeline is hiring a Yard Attendant to assist in the shop and yard, loading/unloading heavy machinery, moving pallets, and keeping the facility clean and organized. You will also help with groundskeeping and basic assembly tasks, contributing to efficient yard operations.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years with heavy machinery, a high school diploma, and a valid DOT physical. Forklift certification or ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with heavy machinery and vehicles, including loading/unloading, towing, and driving.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Valid and current DOT physical.
• Must have a consistent work ethic, be self-directed, and detail-oriented.
• Experience operating different equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading trucks with equipment from field operations.
• Move pallets in the warehouse with a forklift.
• Operate backhoe for trash pickup and driveway grading.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean inside the facility.
• Perform groundskeeping such as lot maintenance, mowing, and weed control.
• Handle trash removal across company property and warehouse areas.
• Assemble and build parts for worktables, benches, shelves, and furnishings.
• Patch or replace wall panels; paint walls, ceilings, and trim.
• Deliver parts and equipment to work areas as needed.
• Move equipment/vehicles around the lot to keep space organized.

We are hiring a Yard Attendant to assist the shop and yard on maintenance, along with a variety of other tasks, including but not limited to loading and unloading heavy machinery, move pallets in warehouse, & assist in keeping the shop clean and organized.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in unloading trucks with equipment sent in from field operations.
• Move pallets in warehouse with forklift.
• Operate backhoe to pick up trash and grade driveway.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean inside the facility.
• Carry out groundskeeping duties which include lot maintenance, mowing grass and weed control.
• Take care of all trash removal on outdoor company property and within the warehouse and shop areas.
• Assemble and build parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other furnishings.
• Patch or replace wall board; paint walls, ceilings, and trim of building.
• Run parts and equipment to work areas and/or crews as requested.
• Take initiative to move equipment and vehicles around the lot to keep the space organized.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years working with heavy machinery and vehicles, performing duties such as loading/unloading, towing, and driving.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified.
• Valid and current DOT physical.
• Consistent work ethic, self-directed, & strong attention to detail to notice any object out of place on the lot.
• Understanding and ability to operate different equipment.
