Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks an Associate Geological Specialist to support Engineering Geology projects. This role involves fieldwork primarily in PA, OH, and VA, with 50% regional travel and a sign-on bonus. You will collect environmental samples, log borings, install monitoring wells, and prepare clear field notes and data analyses under supervision.

Minimum requirements include a B.S. or M.S. in Geology and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Geology required.
• 0+ years of experience in geology or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Field tasks include collecting environmental samples (soil, sediment, groundwater, soil vapor, stormwater), logging soil borings, installing monitoring wells, performing site inspections, and writing field notes.
• Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, accurate reports, and illustrations for interpretation of data, findings or analyses.
