Job summary

GTA is seeking experienced Field Geologists for our Quakertown, PA office to monitor construction and test soils, concrete, and other materials. A valid vehicle and good driving record are required; entry level training is provided.

Responsibilities include field sampling, testing, and documentation in outdoor environments. Candidates should be able to work independently or with a team and be comfortable with physical demands on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• B.S. in Geology, but not required
• Certificates such as NICET, ACI, PADOT, ICC
• Own a Reliable Vehicle and have a Good Driving Record
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Ability to work alone as well as in a group

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials.
• This position may require standing for extended durations and lifting up to 60–80 pounds as needed.
