Job summary

Broadbent & Associates, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a full-time Staff Geologist / Staff Environmental Scientist to support environmental remediation, water resources, and civil projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Science.
• Zero to two years of environmental-related work experience.
• Ability to work outdoors, traverse moderate terrain and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Technical writing competency.
• Strong technical and computer skills.
• Self-starter, quick learner and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• GIS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field work to support environmental projects including Emergency Response, Phase 1 ESAs, soil and groundwater characterization, air sampling and water resources activities.
• Prepare accurate data reports and daily logs; maintain health and safety procedures on site.
• Interact with clients and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
