Job summary

Arcosa is seeking a Project Geologist, Construction Materials to support mineral resource exploration, geological analysis, reserve management, and long‑term development across operations.

The role suits a recent graduate or early‑career geologist eager for hands‑on experience in construction materials and mining, collaborating with senior geologists and operations teams across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geosciences or related earth science discipline.
• 0–3 years of professional geology experience.
• Experience with mineralogy, petrology, sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, geomorphology, and geologic mapping.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by following MSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with geological investigations, exploration projects, and mineral resource evaluations.
• Use GIS, GPS, aerial imagery, and field data to evaluate resources and support exploration programs.
• Review and summarize drilling, sampling, and geological data.
• Support 3D geologic modeling for mine planning and resource management.
• Coordinate exploration drilling, field coordination, and core logging.
