Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell towers across the region. The role suits independent, self-motivated individuals willing to travel and work on a flexible schedule.

Candidates should have 2+ years of generator maintenance experience, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. The position involves on-site field work with potential on-call shifts and safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year of intense work experience with generator/electrical maintenance software/hardware.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair, and upgrade generators and related systems.
• Perform performance checks and regular maintenance; follow blueprints/design specs.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring, and controls; test proper operation.
• Respond to power/generator alarms; be on-call 24/7 if needed; communicate via phone/email.
