Job summary

Baxi is hiring a Gas Engineer (Field Service) to diagnose, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial heating systems across the Birmingham area. You will work in the field, averaging 41.5 hours per week on annualised hours, with a stable salary and a monthly bonus.

The role requires ACS Gas qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and a strong focus on safety and customer service as you service and commission new installations while upholding Gas Safe regulations.

Qualifications

ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent) are essential.
Proven experience servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial heating appliances to standards.
Diagnose faults and deliver first-time fixes where possible.
Commission new installations and ensure systems run efficiently.
Complete work in line with Gas Safe regulations and safety policies.
Manage daily schedule and meet service level agreements.
Provide technical advice to customers and installers.
