Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

  • Exotic Fruit Fly Detection: place devices and conduct fruit fly surveys in various environments.
  • Public Relations: maintain a professional demeanor and respond to consumer inquiries.
  • Field Diagnostic And Sampling: collect and submit insects, diseases, and soil samples.
  • Regulatory Activities: assist with inspections of plant materials and high-risk commodities.
  • Emergency Programs: assist in exotic pest surveys and respond to emergencies with possible extended hours.
  • Related Work: perform other duties as directed by management.
