Job summary

S&G Stores is seeking a Fountain Drink Technician to maintain and repair fountain beverage equipment across multiple locations in Ohio and nearby areas. You will ensure machines, ice makers, CO₂ systems, and beverage lines operate reliably and safely.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, attention to detail, and the ability to travel between S&G locations to perform scheduled and emergency repairs, while keeping accurate service records and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with beverage, refrigeration, food-service, mechanical, or facilities equipment preferred.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and service instructions.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, inspect, and repair fountain beverage equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on fountain drink machines and related equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify the cause of malfunctions
• Service and maintain beverage dispensing systems, valves, pumps, lines, and fittings
• Inspect and maintain CO₂ systems and connections
• Travel between S&G locations for repairs
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain tools and vehicle
• Respond to maintenance requests and service calls
• Communicate equipment problems that require specialized service or replacement
• Maintain an inventory of commonly used parts, tools, and supplies
