Qualifications

• Forestry/NR major not graduated; returning to school.
• Ability to work outside in rough terrain.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficient with GIS, MS Word and Excel.
• Self-starter able to work independently or with a crew.

Responsibilities

• Perform land exams and prepare reports.
• Fixed and variable plot forest inventory.
• Assist with layout and design of silvicultural projects.
• Perform vegetation control, herbicide applications as needed.
• Perform animal damage control and related tasks.
• Cross-departmental support as required.
