Job summary

The Utility Pole Assessment Foreman at Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. leads daily field operations, supervises a crew, and ensures safe, high-quality pole assessments, maintenance, and restoration work across assigned projects.

This full-time role offers paid training, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package, with travel to customer sites across the region. You’ll develop leadership skills through a structured Foreman Level Program and ongoing performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with at least three years driving experience.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to motivate, train, and work effectively with field crews.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain company vehicles and tools.
• Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
• Perform utility pole assessments while following company standards and safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Train, coach, and mentor crew members in safe work practices and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry requirements.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working conditions.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and project updates accurately and timely.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
• Communicate professionally with customers, utility representatives, landowners, and community members.
• Support a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and accountability.
