Job summary

Schoen's Roofing & Exteriors in Beatrice, NE is seeking an experienced Foreman to supervise roofing, siding, and window replacement projects across the Southeast Nebraska territory. You’ll move between job sites from the Beatrice shop, check progress, quality, and safety, and help with material handling.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in roofing or construction, leadership in crews, strong knowledge of roofing systems and siding, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in roofing, siding, window replacement, or general construction.
• Experience leading or overseeing crews is a big plus.
• Solid working knowledge of roofing systems (asphalt shingle, underlayment, flashing) and siding materials (vinyl, LP SmartSide, fiber cement).
• Can read job specs and material lists without issue.
• Good communicator with solid judgment to make calls on your own.
• Comfortable juggling multiple job sites in a day.
• Reliable and ready to be on the road for most of the day.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Check in on multiple active job sites across the territory, monitoring crew progress, quality and safety.
• Spot-check roof decking, underlayment, flashing, shingle installation, and window/siding fit to standard.
• Run materials out to job sites as crews need them.
• Help with hands-on parts of a job when extra hands or expertise are needed.
• Be the go-to person when crews have questions or issues on site.
• Keep the Production Manager and office informed about progress and delays.
• Talk with homeowners on site to answer questions and address concerns.
• Prioritize safety, especially fall protection and ladder safety on roofs.
• Handle job documentation - photos, checklists, material usage.
• Plan days/weeks to efficiently cover assigned sites.
