Job summary

Eversource Energy in New Hampshire seeks an experienced professional to lead system-wide technical assignments for protective relay systems and related equipment. You will oversee installation, acceptance testing, maintenance and repair across electromechanical and solid-state relays, SCADA, IEC 61850, HMIs, and field devices.

The role requires directing personnel, training staff, ensuring safety, coordinating with vendors and other departments, and traveling as needed within MA/CT/NH.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience required.
• Education: Associate degree in Electronic/Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction to personnel and performs assignments with extensive experience planning system-wide technical tasks for protective relay systems/equipment.
• Oversees installation, testing, maintenance and/or repair of protection and control systems including IEDs, DTT, SCADA, IEC 61850 and HMIs.
• Ensures safe, timely completion of work and provides training to staff.
• Identifies procedural methods and makes decisions based on analysis; collaborates with vendors and interfacing departments.
