Job summary

Ferrovial’s Webber subsidiary in Houston, Texas, seeks a Supervisor: Foreman to lead skilled field crews on highway projects and oversee day-to-day production with a strong emphasis on safety. You will interpret blueprints, coordinate materials and equipment, and collaborate with owners and staff to meet project goals.

Five years of dirt-crew supervision on highway projects are required, with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and a valid driver license for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience managing dirt crews on highway projects.
• Lift, push, or pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds.
• Climb, kneel, twist, and bend in various environments.
• Manual dexterity to reach/handle items and work with fingers.
• Demonstrated experience in utility work supervision (NNWW preferable).
• Responsibilities include planning/procuring materials, coordinating staff, and working with owner representatives.
• Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
• Valid driver license for occasional travel.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects.
• Work outdoors with changing weather conditions.
• Knowledge of Safety Policies and Practices as per the company safety manual.

• Interpret blueprints/plans and construct accordingly
