Job summary

VSC Fire & Security is seeking a Foreman in Charlotte, North Carolina to lead sprinkler installation teams on-site. The role focuses on reading plans, ensuring safety, coordinating with crews, and delivering installations to code while maintaining quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in installation of fire sprinkler systems, pipefitting, or fire protection codes and standards.
• Proficient at following written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail and communication.
• Ability to lead an installation team, set goals, and meet deadlines on site.
• Able to read plans/documents and discern colors for safety signage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections for methods of handling, storing, installation, and testing of all materials.
• Follow designed plans and communicate needed design changes to fit site requirements.
• Be responsible for materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication on site, documenting change orders.
• Lead an installation team and conduct weekly safety meetings with team(s).
