Job summary

Diversified Fall Protection is seeking a Field Foreman to lead fall protection projects nationwide, fabricating, inspecting, and installing systems under Project Managers. You will read and interpret drawings, perform AWS D1.1 compliant field welding, and ensure compliance with engineering, inspection, and safety standards.

The role supervises Installers and contract labor, provides training, and communicates professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge and use of hand tools and general construction practices.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow procedures and instructions.
• Leadership skills preferred.
• Willingness to work in varying field conditions, including rooftops and extreme temperatures.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and meeting PPE requirements.
• Ability to read engineered drawings, blueprints, plans, and tape measures.
• Flexible to schedule changes and travel up to 95%.
• Reliable transportation and smartphone with required apps.

Responsibilities

• Layout and installation of fall protection systems on job sites nationwide under Project Managers.
• Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate placement and compliance.
• Complete project tasks including packing, inventory tracking, and tool organization.
• Provide training and support to Installers.
• Conduct equipment testing and certification per engineering specs.
• Submit accurate project documentation (redlines, test logs, safety records, daily reports).
• Maintain records of time worked, per diem, and travel activity.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Show initiative and commitment to skill development.
