Job summary

SCS Global Services is seeking a Food Safety Auditor responsible for conducting audits on farms and facilities in the U.S. Auditors will travel extensively, perform inspections, determine compliance with regulations, and submit audit reports.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Familiarity with third-party certification processes and the ability to travel frequently are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with third-party certification process.
• Willing to travel up to 75%, mostly overnight travel throughout the U.S.
• Minimum 8 hour Food Hygiene training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections at client sites.
• Prepare audit plans and conduct field interviews with agricultural workers.
• Submit complete and accurate audit reports.

Skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Well-developed organizational and time management skills

Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Verbal proficiency in Spanish

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness Management or related field

4 years industry experience

Accredited minimum 16 hour HACCP training
