Job summary

SGS is seeking an Animal Feed Auditor to perform third-party audits under SGS Certification procedures and standards such as GMP+, HACCP. The role may be located anywhere in the U.S. and requires travel up to 80%.

You will assimilate the SGS Certification System, collaborate with teams of auditors, and provide customers with the audit experience needed for accreditation. Experience as Lead Auditor to HACCP is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in animal feed / nutrition, food science or bioscience is required.
• Post-secondary education in biology, chemistry, food engineering, pharmacy, agricultural engineering, nutrition, zootechnics.

Responsibilities

• Perform certification audits in conformance with SGS procedures and standards.
• Provide recommendations for certification based on audit evidence.
• Collaborate with auditing teams and participate in witness audits.
• Maintain audit credentials and adhere to internal standards.
