Job summary

OWL Services seeks a Food & Beverage Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial equipment across Florida. You will work independently in the field, delivering reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, refrigeration knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. You will manage service reports, maintain vehicles, and participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing commercial food and beverage equipment (or equivalent technical experience).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic refrigeration knowledge (EPA certification preferred or required).
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must have own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain equipment including: coffee and espresso machines; fountain beverage systems; ice machines; refrigeration equipment; ovens, warmers, and other light commercial kitchen equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Install new equipment and perform start-ups and testing.
• Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, parts inventory, and safety equipment.
• Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch, service managers, and parts departments as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency service calls as required.
