Tray-Tec, Inc. seeks an experienced Fitter to layout, align, and install tray internals, rings, and related components inside columns and reactors. You will read drawings, support field modifications, and coordinate with welders while maintaining safety and tool control.

Travel to sites nationwide is required, including deep confined spaces and elevated work areas. A strong mechanical aptitude and readiness for turnaround projects are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and interpret structural and mechanical drawings.
• ASME standards knowledge related to vessel modification.
• Experience with hot work, rigging, and confined space operations.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination and physical stamina.

Responsabilidades

• Lay out and fit tray support rings, bolting bars, nozzles, and other internals per drawings and specifications.
• Interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs and customer specs.
• Fit up nozzles, manways, and column modifications using measuring tools.
• Use torch cutting and grinding for field modifications and fit-up tasks.
• Work in confined spaces inside towers, vessels, and drums with safety procedures.
• Coordinate with welders to ensure accurate fit-up and prep.
• Assist verifying delivered materials and inventory for job readiness.
• Maintain tools, fit-up materials, and rigging hardware.
• Support work sequencing during shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Assist scaffold planning and safe access inside vessels.
