Job summary

All-State Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Inspector to join our Buffalo, NY team. You will perform inspections, testing, and documentation for fire alarm and sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Minimum 3 years of fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler inspection experience.
Proficiency with mobile devices and field service software.
Ability to travel between customer locations daily.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
Ensure customers receive high level of service.
Complete inspections accurately and efficiently with scheduling teams.
Test components like batteries, initiating devices, and control panels.
Identify and document deficiencies.
Troubleshoot system issues and determine repairs.
Review findings with customers and explain recommendations.
Use mobile devices and scheduling tools to manage daily assignments.
Travel daily between customer sites; occasional overnight travel.
Maintain inspection reports, timesheets, and safety paperwork.
Stay current on NFPA codes and manufacturer requirements.
Participate in training programs.
Obtain NICET certifications and OSHA training.
