Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Field Events & Content Specialist in Boone, NC to coordinate field events and content trips for the Operation Christmas Child program. This role involves planning, storytelling, and cross-functional coordination with international teams.

You will support pre-trip planning, manage media assets, and help identify impact stories while collaborating with staff and leaders. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Cross-cultural experience preferred.
• Twelve college credits in Biblical studies preferred.
• General knowledge of photo, video, and digital file management.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of discernment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support Field Events for Samaritan's Purse and Operation Christmas Child, including pre-trip visits and planning meetings.
• Serve as liaison between teams; manage administrative processes; support Vision Trips and Content Trips.
• Oversee planning and facilitation of outreach events and The Greatest Journey programs with ministry staff and field reps.
• Develop and maintain the Operation Christmas Child story, photo, and video online database.
• Assist in planning and executing content trips by identifying key impact stories and coordinating planning and communication.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Field Events & Content Specialist to join our Operation Christmas Child team in Boone, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Field Events & Content Specialist,you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Provide leadership and expertise in the planning and support of Samaritan's Purse and Operation Christmas Child field events and conduct pre-trip visits and meetings to plan and set expectations for upcoming trips
• Serve as a liaison between teams, manage administrative processes, and provide support for Vision Trips, Content Trips, and other trips as assigned
• Oversee the planning and facilitation of outreach events and The Greatest Journey discipleship program events in coordination with ministry staff, international field representatives, and national leadership teams
• Provide support in the development and maintenance of the Operation Christmas Child story, photo, and video online database
• Assist in the comprehensive approach to planning and executing Operation Christmas Child content trips through the investigation and identification of key impact stories and facilitating the planning process and communication for content trips
• Other duties as assigned

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Cross-cultural experience (preferred)
• Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies (preferred)
• General knowledge of photo, video, and digital file management
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of discernment
