Job summary

Liberty Energy in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain PropX containers, conveyors, and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and install to ensure high uptime and safety.

The role requires PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley RS 5000), HMI basics, and strong electrical/mechanical aptitude. You must read prints, follow safety standards, work in on-call rotations, and travel to PropX sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong background in machine electrical required.
• Proven PLC programming experience – RS 5000 with networking experience preferred.
• HMI programming experience preferred (Wonderware).
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
• Knowledge of safety practices such as lockout/tagout and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots mechanical equipment, PLCs, and electrical systems.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs electric motors and equipment (120/240/480V).
• Performs preventive maintenance and documents work.
• Travels to PropX locations to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Interacts with suppliers to improve designs and performs training.
