Job summary

Trench Shoring Company is seeking an Equipment Technician I to help maintain inventory and assist with preparing orders for delivery. You will work with customer service and driving teams to fulfill orders accurately and on time, testing and assembling aluminum and metal equipment, including hydraulic shores and steel boxes, in various configurations.

On-site attendance is essential. The role requires reading and following procedures, basic math for measurements, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be capable of reading, understanding, and following company procedures.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and read, interpret, and apply measurements.

Responsibilities

Maintains regular and dependable on-site attendance, arriving on time and prepared to begin work as scheduled.
Assist with loading and unloading of equipment in the yard in a safe and timely manner.
Identify and verify the type and quantity of equipment on an order using the company’s load-checking procedures.
Read rental contracts provided to drivers to ensure deliveries and collection orders are fully completed.
Assemble, disassemble, and test equipment according to company policies and procedures.
Provide high level customer service and professionalism to customers visiting Trench Shoring locations and at customer job sites.
