Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Equipment Installer I to perform quality installations of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments. This is a field-based role with regional and occasional national travel, requiring safety-first execution and adherence to customer standards.

The position emphasizes hands-on installation, on-site analysis of drawings and MOPs, and strong customer service while maintaining professional appearance. Proficiency with MS Office and basic hand tools is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office or equivalent are required.
• Basic knowledge and skills with hand tools are required.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments.
• On-site analysis of job drawings, specifications and MOPs.
• Ensure quality installations by conforming to applicable standards.
• Follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks.
• Pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening.
