Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Sheridan, WY is seeking a Field Technician to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, and water. This full-time role involves field operations from Monday to Friday, with travel to client sites within the West Coast territory.

You will collect samples, perform field procedures, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma is required; some lab or environmental experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• Must be able to travel with some overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license required; driving may be part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water, and related media).
• Perform field services using standard environmental support practices.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations and maintain documentation.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, and databases accurately and timely.
• Assist with researching and recommending solutions to operations or customer issues.
• Support field/environmental program reviews and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Contribute to team effectiveness with improvement ideas.
• Promote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional interactions.
