Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an Environmental Compliance Assistant to support the implementation and maintenance of environmental procedures on field projects. You will perform routine tasks under supervision, helping with inspections, permit plans, and spill response while supporting safety and compliance programs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree and up to 1 year of experience in environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in environmental compliance or related field.

Responsibilities

• With oversight by Environmental Specialists and Managers:
• Assist in the implementation of environmental compliance programs for field projects
• Conduct environmental inspections and document findings
• Assist with implementation of environmental permits and plans
• Assist with spill response and clean-up efforts
• Conduct research and provide recommendations for environmental best practices
