Job summary

HDR is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to lead and conduct wetland delineations, assessments, and environmental reporting in Everett, WA. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in environmental science.

The successful candidate will contribute to projects ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and provide analytical support. Strong writing and GIS skills along with a commitment to safety and employee culture are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years technical and field experience preparing environmental documents.
• Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) or Wetland Professional in Training (WPIT) certification preferred.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead wetland and stream delineations and functional assessments.
• Prepare written environmental reports including delineation reports and critical areas reports.
• Work independently on small to medium-size projects.
