Job summary

An established environmental consulting firm is looking for an Environmental Scientist or Geologist to join their Contamination and Due Diligence Team in Minneapolis. This full-time role focuses on environmental assessments and requires strong technical knowledge of regulations regarding soil and groundwater. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in a related field, at least 3 years of experience, and relevant certifications. A hybrid work arrangement is possible, with significant fieldwork expected. The salary range is $79,400 to $119,500 depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional environmental experience.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• ASTM E1527 Phase I ESAs certification preferred.
• Skilled in environmental monitoring.
• Excellent oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental field tasks and reporting.
• Manage Phase I and Phase II ESAs for projects.
• Author technical reports including Phase I and II documentation.
• Conduct construction monitoring for various projects.
• Support desktop contamination research for projects.
