Bechtel is seeking an Environmental Specialist to integrate environmental requirements across planning, design, construction, commissioning, startup, and operations. Qualifikationen

• Requires bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related field with 1–2 years of experience.
• Alternatively, 5–6 years of relevant work experience accepted.
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to field conditions.

Aufgaben

• Supports execution of the environmental component of an ESH Program.
• Assists development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans.
• Integrates environmental requirements into planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Researches issues and regulatory requirements and prepares documentation.
• Assists with environmental permitting, studies, risk assessments, and reviews.
• Participates in emergency response and incident investigations.
• Conducts inspections and environmental monitoring and sampling.
• Provides guidance regarding mitigation, permit conditions, sustainability concepts, and protection of sensitive areas.
