Job summary

Kinder Morgan invites students to join the BOLT Intern Program in Houston to gain hands-on experience in environmental services and engineering within our energy infrastructure business. You will support regulatory compliance on major projects, learn cross-department coordination, and prepare a final summer presentation for department leaders.

Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering, geology, chemistry, or environmental sciences, maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and can travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• GPA minimum 3.0
• Demonstrated experience leading teams during school, work, or personal life
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak publicly in front of groups
• Team-oriented and able to work independently
• Attention to detail and strong computer skills
• Willing to travel within the United States

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Field Environmental Services and Engineering departments
• Learn coordination between specialties to manage environmental compliance on major projects
• Present a summary of the internship to department management at summer's end
• Support regulatory compliance efforts across waste management, stormwater, and wastewater
