Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. is seeking a field-based Environmental Compliance Specialist to support spill response, air permitting, SPCC and storm water programs across North Dakota operations.

You will collaborate with operations and Environmental staff to ensure regulatory adherence and proactive environmental management. The role requires extensive field work, OSHA-style safety practices, and strong communication skills to liaise with agencies and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote environmental awareness and perform training for field personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations pertinent to oil and gas operations.
• Conduct inspections, sampling, and site assessments for compliance.
• Assist with air permitting, SPCC, and storm water program maintenance.
• Develop site diagrams, inventories, and maintain records for compliance programs.
• Support regulatory inspections and agency communications.
