Job summary

Belshire is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team in Vallejo, CA. This role focuses on conducting regulatory inspections at UST/AST facilities, training facility employees, and ensuring client compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You'll work ~80% in the field and 20% from a home office, with a Monday–Friday schedule, paid travel time, mileage reimbursement, and company-sponsored training to obtain required certifications including the California UST

Qualifications

• You enjoy working outdoors and perform fieldwork 80% of the time with 20% remote office tasks.
• Ability to pass the California UST System Operator Certification after training.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory visual inspections at UST/AST facilities.
• Communicate crucial information to help clients stay compliant with regulations.
• Provide annual training to facility employees on safety and compliance duties.
