Fehr Graham is seeking a field-oriented technician to support civil and environmental engineering projects in our East Peoria, Illinois office. You will perform field measurements, collect samples, and help prepare drawings and calculations for review by engineers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; significant experience may offset educational requirement.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical measurement, surveying, or environmental activities.
• Able to perform observation duties, take measurements, and verify quantities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field and office technical activities to support civil and environmental work.
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications in the field.
• Conduct construction observation and keep records of activities and quantities.
• Assist with data collection, calculations, and data presentation.
• Create drawings via hand drafting or CAD for review.
• Maintain equipment used in the field and office.
• Support copying, plan set creation, filing, and library maintenance.
