FusionFusion is seeking Engineering Technicians to provide onsite technical oversight and quality-control support for major construction projects. This field-based role involves inspecting work, evaluating contractor performance, documenting deficiencies, and verifying compliance with project plans, specifications, and standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience with large federal or Department of War construction projects and the ability to clearly communicate technical concerns,

Competenze

• Experience communicating technical findings clearly and documenting recommendations.
• Experience working on large federal or DoW construction projects is a plus.
• Ability to evaluate contractor performance and address deficiencies.

Mansioni

• Conduct site inspections to evaluate construction activities, workmanship, materials, equipment, and site conditions, recommend improvements and oversee contractor execution
• Review work for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable engineering and safety standards
• Identify and document deficiencies and follow corrective actions through resolution
• Ensure projects comply with federal, DoW, and engineering standards for safety and performance
• Support the three-phase control quality management process to verify compliance at all project stages
• Build effective working relationships with engineers, contractors, government officials, customers, and other stakeholders to support project requirements and mission objectives
• Clearly and professionally explain technical findings and recommended corrective actions, helping stakeholders understand and support the proposed approach
• Develop and maintain technical reports, engineering documentation, and compliance records
• Participate in meetings, site briefings, and contract performance reviews, providing technical insight as needed
• Support the training and development of junior staff
