The Opportunity:

Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will:

  1. Showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche-assigned product lines.
  2. Offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.
  3. Provide routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.
  4. Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  5. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
  6. Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.

This is a field-based role—territory is South Wisconsin, ideally based in the greater Milwaukee, WI area.

Who You Are:
  • High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience.
  • 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking, or a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field plus 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.
  • Ability to travel, including some overnight stays, is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, IT, and basic chemistry.
  • Ability to serve as an internal technical resource, support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for Wisconsin is between $68,900 and $127,900, based on experience and other factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be available, along with benefits detailed at the provided link.
