Helmerich & Payne is seeking motivated interns to gain hands-on energy industry experience in field operations. You will receive one-on-one mentoring from energy professionals and explore H&P’s culture, values, goals, and core processes.

Applicants will be considered based on internal demand for upcoming internship opportunities. Current students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree, certification, or equivalent educational program.
• Likely two summers remaining before graduation to maximize internship experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Gain exposure to rig operations, equipment, processes, and the daily responsibilities of field-based employees.
• Understand the company mission, including brand, customer, product goals, and safety aspects.
• Accept designated business-focused projects to research theory, propose solutions, and present final results.
• Provide support in operational or functional areas in the assigned department using prior experience.
• Build relationships with rig crews, field leadership, and other H&P professionals.
• Demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a priority.
• Demonstrate the H&P Way: CARE, Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, Teamwork, Do the right thing.
