Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or related 4-year degree program.
• Strong command of English (verbal and written).
• Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Manual dexterity for field activities.
• Solid understanding of Construction Math.
• Ability to perform moderate to high physical activity on site.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Safety Observations (HSO).
• Know and apply necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for jobsite activities.
• Observe and prevent safety incidents.
• Conduct jobsite audits.
• Learn how to interpret plans and set layouts.
• Understand how to survey for quantities.
• Gain knowledge in conversions and accurate surveying practice.
• Assess man-hours and materials needed for production.
• Communicate and delegate work plans to field crews.
