Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leading building intelligence company, is seeking a Field Engineer to provide technical and administrative support on complex projects. You will ensure field work complies with engineering standards, document progress in JobConnect, and coordinate with the Project Superintendent to maintain schedule.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and strong communication to relay field conditions and RFIs, ensuring accurate as-builts in Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of field engineering or related construction experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 60 feet.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Document field progress in JobConnect.
• Prepare weekly look-aheads with Project Superintendent.
• Coordinate with foreman and communicate look-ahead dates.
• Update drawings with RFI responses and produce conformed records.
• Perform as-built documentation in Bluebeam.
• Attend ORM meetings and document outcomes.
• Maintain punch lists and track field issues.
• Liaise with GC field engineers and relay information.
