Job summary
Prescient Edge is seeking a Field Engineer to support a federal government client from the San Diego area. The role requires hands-on lab and field work with sensor applications, networking, and unmanned systems.
Ideal candidates will have a secret clearance, Linux experience, and the ability to configure mesh networks, Starlink, routers, and radio gear. Travel up to 25% is expected, and you will be the forward face of the team with government and industry partners.
Qualifications
- Background with conducting a wide range of lab and field related activities with sensor applications, sensor system integration, networking, and fleet troubleshooting.
- Must have the capability to conduct rapid field solutioning of network systems on manned and unmanned systems to include being able to configure mesh network systems, Starlink, routers, radio communication equipment.
- Desired experience: Experience with unmanned systems.
- Linux experience.
- Security clearance: Must have at least a secret clearance.
- Location: Must be located within 1 hour of San Diego Area.
- Frequent travel (25%+) to domestic and foreign locations.
