Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Field Engineer to support a federal government client by conducting lab and field activities with sensor applications and system integration.

The ideal candidate will have a background in networking and troubleshooting, with the capability to work closely with government and allied nations. Additionally, candidates must be within 1 hour of San Diego and be open to frequent travel.

• Must have at least a secret security clearance.

• Salary range: $97,000 - $150,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Job Requirements

Experience

• Background with conducting a wide range of lab and field related activities with sensor applications, sensor system integration, networking, and fleet troubleshooting.
• Must have the capability to conduct rapid field solutioning of network systems on manned and unmanned systems to include being able to configure mesh network systems, starlink, routers, radio communication equipment, and be the forward face of the team with the US Government, Allied Nations, and international industry partners.

Desired experience

• Experience with unmanned systems.

Security clearance

• Must have at least a secret clearance.

Location

• Must be located within 1 hour of San Diego Area.
• Frequent travel (25%+) to domestic and foreign locations.
