The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is seeking a Field Engineer/Resident Project Representative in New York. This full-time role involves interpreting construction documents, maintaining records of contractor activities, and managing project teams.

In the role of Field Engineer/Resident Project Representative, we'll count on you to:
Preferred Qualifications
E.I.T. or Professional Engineer (PE) license desirable
Certified Construction Manager (CMM) certification is recommended
Candidates hired without their PE will have the title of Resident Project Representative
2 or more years of New York City Transit experience

Ability to interpret construction schedules
Ability to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the engineer
Ability to use computers and other electronic devices
Local candidates to NYC area able to work within the 5 NY Boroughs
