This role involves on-site observation of construction projects, managing project budgets, and facilitating communication with clients and contractors. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 3 to 10 years of experience is required, preferably with UDOT. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of engineering or construction management experience preferred.
• Experience with Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) plans and specifications is highly favored.
• Proven ability to train other project representatives is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly status reports for the project.
• Coordinate meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
• Manage submittal and shop drawing processes.
• Monitor project and internal budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Analyze and negotiate change orders.
